"Vidhyo" - means "Education". Yeah, "Vidhyodaya Matri. Academy" (in short V.M.A. ) is where I pursued my higher secondary education. I joined the school on the year of its platinum jubilee celebrations. Hmm.. its a great school ( by saying great school I mean its big, it has three schools inside : State board, Matriculation and a pre - primary section ). I met a great friend of my life here...yeah its none other than Miss Thanga Surabi Bright Raj. (All of us call her Bright). Almost the whole school knew that both of us were close friends. I had a great time with her. Lots of naughty stuff & fun....But I had a bad time when it comes to studies in Vidhyo..There were lots of unit tests & parents - teachers meeting every month... Man! it was really a nightmarish experience ! (specially with my Language teacher and Mathematics teacher).
"Holy Angels"! Hail Holy Angels!!!!! Hey ! its a paradise for students. I still treasure every moment spent in Holy Angels. This institution is basically run by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary ( FMM Sisters) . It had a huge play ground & clean buildings. The environment is cool here. Our staffs used to encourage us a lot to join in more extra curricular activities other than lessons. "Play more & work less " was our slogan. Still our school used to get good results every year. There were a lot of Club activities in School. I was in Dramatics, Mass Media and also in Guides for sometime. I played football & ball badminton. I was there in Holy Angels from 1st to 10th (High School) class. I did my KG classes in "Our Lady's Nursery" which is inside the same compound of Holy Angels. I also made some loving & cute friends here like Lydia, Bharathi, Vilasini, Sreemathi, Sreelakshmi....
I did my pre - nursery here. I really don't remember a single moment I spent in this School. But as & when I pass through the school, (when I go to church specially..cos the school is on my way to our church) my mom used to say that she used to bring lunch for me to school & make me sit in a place ( she sometimes shows me the place where we sat) and eat. I 've also got one picture of where I get a prize won in some competition. (Will add that picture soon). Mom also used to say I used to stood first in class in everything : studies or sports. am serious!
